Customs officers from Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan participated in an off-site training course

Employees of the customs post "Farap Avtoyollary" of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan and "Alat" of the State Customs Committee of Uzbekistan took part in a sub-regional field training dedicated to the introduction of a pilot project on exchange of preliminary information on cargoes. This was reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The event was organized within the framework of the Global Container Control Programme of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime and the World Customs Organization. The speaker was international expert Svetlan Savov.

As part of the expansion of information interaction with other countries, the Customs Service of Turkmenistan has established an exchange of preliminary data with the Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
