Turkmenistan and Paris discuss cooperation in training pianists

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Paris Maksat Chariev met with Professor of L'ecole Normale Normale de Musique de Paris Alfred Cortot Sergey Markarov. This was reported by the TurkmenPortal online edition.

During the bilateral meeting, the interlocutors discussed the possibility of cooperation between the Turkmen National Conservatory named after Mai Kuliyeva and the Higher School of Music of Paris in the field of training talented pianists.

The parties expressed mutual willingness to expand fruitful cooperation between specialized educational institutions of Turkmenistan and France. Sergey Markarov, Professor at the École Normale Supérieure de Musique de Paris, holds the honorary title "UNESCO Artist for Peace" and advocates intercultural dialog, peace and tolerance.
