Turkmen student won the International Physics Olympiad

According to the results of the XII International Olympiad in General Physics "Ion I. Agarbiceanu" held in Bucharest on May 18, Govshut Akmyradov, a student of the Oguz Khan University of Engineering and Technology of Turkmenistan, won first place. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

Students of leading universities from 8 countries took part in the Olympiad, which was held among engineering students. The competitions were held in two directions - classical and modern physics, with theoretical and practical rounds in each direction.

Govshut Akmyradov became the winner in the direction of modern physics. The winners and runners-up were awarded diplomas of appropriate degrees and memorable gifts from the organizing university. After the intellectual competition, joint research work of Turkmen scientists with representatives of the Polytechnic University of Bucharest was organized.
