Wages and pensions in Turkmenistan will increase by 10% from January 1, 2025

During the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Deputy Prime Minister of Turkmenistan Kh. Geldimiradov made a proposal to increase the amount of wages, pensions, student scholarships and state benefits by 10% from January 1, 2025. This is reported by the online edition Centralasia.news. 

Having heard the Deputy Prime Minister's proposal, the President of Turkmenistan approved it, noting that the country is actively implementing reforms aimed at improving the social welfare of citizens. Serdar Berdimuhamedov gave instructions to the Deputy Prime Minister to increase the amount of payments from January 1 next year.

Also during the Cabinet meeting H. Geldimiradov spoke about practical steps to develop the draft State Budget for 2025.
