Four students of the Ashgabat specialized boarding school named after Saparmurat Turkmenbashi took part in the 56th International Chemistry Olympiad in Riyadh, winning a total of four medals. This is reported by the Internet edition "Turkmenistan: The Golden Age."
Each of the representatives of Turkmenistan won a medal having successfully coped with practical and theoretical tasks. Silver medal winners were Aigul Atadjanova, an eleventh-grader, and tenth-grader Rustem Jumaev. Bronze medals were awarded to eleventh-grader Jeren Akmyradova and tenth-grader Diyar Dovletov.
Nurdzhakhan Myalikgulyyeva, a teacher of the Department of Physical Chemistry of TSU named after Makhtumkuli, and Yagmyr Tulekov, a teacher of the Department of Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry, became mentors and escorts of the Turkmen schoolchildren to Saudi Arabia.
