Turkmen musicians are scheduled to perform at major international festivals in Uzbekistan, Germany and Russia this August. This is reported by the Internet edition "TurkmenPortal.
On August 25, Turkmen musicians will present a program of playing traditional national instruments in a modern reading at the Young Euro Classic festival in Berlin. They will perform works by Nura Khalmamedov, Veli Mukhadov and Durdy Nuryev on dutar, gidzhak and tuiduk.
From August 25 to 30, Turkmen musicians will participate in the XIII International Festival "Shark Taronalary" in Samarkand, which is held with the support of UNESCO. Turkmen artists as part of the symphony orchestra of the Caspian states will perform at the Caspian Seasons open-air festival in the Astrakhan Kremlin from August 17 to 31.
