A collection of poems by Makhtumkuli Fraghi translated into Georgian was presented at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan on September 30. About it reports Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan.
The presentation was attended by representatives of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry, employees of the diplomatic corps and international organizations, scientists, literary scholars, teachers and students of the IMO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Ambassador of Georgia to Turkmenistan Konstantin Sabiashvili noted that the publication of the collection in the Georgian language will contribute to the strengthening of bilateral cultural and humanitarian ties.
The event included a videoconference with Georgian writers, scholars and public figures. The participants of the meeting emphasized that thanks to the new edition, Georgian-speaking readers had an opportunity to familiarize themselves with Makhtumkuli's literary heritage.
