Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Belgium Sapar Palvanov presented the country at the meeting of Central Asian ambassadors with Secretary General of the International Military and Sports Council Roberto Recchia in Brussels. This is reported by the Internet edition "Westiabad."
The meeting was devoted to the organization of participation of the countries of the region in international sports events. It was noted the need to involve Central Asian countries in sports competitions, which will contribute to the expansion of CISM activities.
The Turkmen side focused on the successful organization of the Asian Games in 2017 in Turkmenistan. In this regard, a proposal was made to hold major competitions in the country. In addition, the Turkmen Ambassador expressed his intention to further develop cooperation with CISM and participate in international initiatives.
