On October 29, representatives of the education sector of the Russian Federation met with colleagues from Turkmenistan to discuss topical issues of cooperation, including the initiative to establish a joint university. This was reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: The Golden Age."
During the meeting with representatives of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, Andrey Korneev, Deputy Minister of Education of the Russian Federation, and Konstantin Mogilevsky, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, touched upon the topics of ensuring the quality of education of students from Turkmenistan studying in Russia. The importance of joint mechanisms for research and control of learning processes and the importance of interaction with Russian educational organizations were noted.
The meeting ended with the confirmation of the parties' readiness to further develop cooperation between the two countries in the field of education.
