An event dedicated to reviewing Uzbekistan's experience in effective rehabilitation and reintegration of returnees was held in Geneva on November 11 this year. Vepa Hajiyev, Permanent Representative of Turkmenistan to the UN in Geneva, took part in the high-level event. This is reported by the online edition "Westiabad.".
This event was organized by the Government of Uzbekistan together with the GCERF Global Fund. One of the sessions was dedicated to discussing efforts related to the rehabilitation of returnees in the Central Asian region. Representatives of CA countries shared their experience in this area, talked about current national processes and shared plans for the coming period.
The importance of the rehabilitation of returnees in combating manifestations of terrorism was emphasized.
