Chairman of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan Dunyagozel Gulmanova accepted credentials from the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Turkmenistan Niyaz Chardakliyan on behalf of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on November 18, TDH reports.
On behalf of the President of Turkmenistan, Gulmanova congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment to a high diplomatic post and wished him success in his work to strengthen friendly relations between the two countries.
In turn, the Ambassador conveyed to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov warm words of greetings from the highest leadership of Bosnia and Herzegovina and best wishes to the Turkmen people.
During the meeting, the diplomat was familiarized with the priority directions of Turkmenistan's domestic and foreign policy, as well as with the structure of the Mejlis, the work carried out by the parliament on legislative support of reforms implemented in various sectors.
The Bosnia and Herzegovina envoy assured that he would make every effort to further deepen the effective cooperation, which is in the interests of both countries.
