Museum funds of Turkmenistan will be replenished with valuable exhibits in 2025. A report on measures taken in this direction was presented to President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov by Deputy Prime Minister Myahridjemal Mammedova at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on January 10. М. Mammadova noted that currently there are 37 museums in Turkmenistan under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Culture, which hold over 367,000 exhibits. Deputy Prime Minister said that in 2025, specialists are planned to travel to different territories to replenish museum collections.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of consistent improvement of the activities of the country's museums in the development and preservation of national cultural values of Turkmenistan.
