Turkmenistan held a trilateral meeting with Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan

Avaza, August 6 - Arzuw.news. A trilateral meeting between the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov was held within the framework of the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries. This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The meeting was held yesterday at the Congress Center in Avaza on the Turkmen coast of the Caspian Sea. The parties discussed the current state and prospects for the development of trilateral relations between the neighboring states.

The participants paid special attention to the development of cultural and humanitarian relations, industrial cooperation and transport and logistics ties. The talks focused on the possibilities of the North-South and East-West international transport corridors, as well as the use of the potential of the Turkmenbashi International Sea Port.

Prime Minister of Azerbaijan conveyed greetings from President Ilham Aliyev. High support of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan to Turkmen initiatives of universal importance was noted.

The participants of the meeting emphasized that the event opened a new page in the history of relations between the three countries. The level of organization of the Forum on the Turkmen coast of the Caspian Sea was highly appreciated.
