The event was held on 28 August in Almaty with the participation of heads of diplomatic missions, representatives of international organizations, Kazakh Foreign Ministry officials, journalists and Turkmen students. The briefing was also devoted to the results of the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries, which was held on August 5-8 in the Avaza tourist zone.
