Turkmenistan received a new ambassador of Bahrain

Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan S. Muhammetdurdyev held a meeting with the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Turkmenistan Bassam Ahmed Ali Marzouk. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The meeting took place on September 15. The Bahraini ambassador, who has his residence in Ankara, presented copies of his credentials at the beginning of the talks.

The Turkmen side congratulated the diplomat on his appointment and expressed readiness to provide comprehensive assistance to his activities.

During the talks, the sides reviewed the current state of bilateral cooperation in political and diplomatic, trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres. Particular attention was paid to the issues of interaction within the framework of international organizations, primarily the United Nations.

The participants of the meeting emphasized the importance of developing inter-parliamentary ties and activating cooperation between the foreign ministries of the two states.

The Bahraini Ambassador assured that he would make maximum efforts to further strengthen the Turkmen-Bahrain partnership.
