Turkmenistan and Russia held consultations on the IIB

Turkmen-Russian interdepartmental consultations on international information security were held in Moscow, during which the parties discussed issues of bilateral and regional cooperation in this sphere. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The meeting was held within the framework of the Program of Cooperation between the foreign ministries of the two countries for 2025-2026, which was signed in June this year.

The participants of the consultations emphasized the importance of coordination of approaches of Turkmenistan and Russia on global and regional platforms. Special attention was paid to the problem of artificial intelligence in the context of information security.

On the same day, the Turkmen delegation took part in the XIX International Forum "Partnership of the State, Business and Civil Society in Ensuring International Information Security". The event was held at the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Foreign Ministry in the format of a plenary session and four thematic sections.

During the forum, world experts exchanged opinions on key information security issues. The forum will continue until September 18.
