Turkmen delegation takes part in the closing ceremony of EXPO-2025 in Osaka

The closing ceremony of the World Expo 2025 was held in Osaka, Japan, on October 13, 2025. The event was attended by members of the Japanese Imperial Family, representatives of the Government of the country and Osaka Prefecture Administration, employees of the World Exhibition Association, as well as high-ranking guests from different countries. Turkmenistan was represented by a delegation headed by Minister of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations N. Agakhanov. It is reported Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

Opening the ceremony, H. Ishige, Secretary General of the World Exhibition Association of Japan, noted the successful completion of EXPO-2025 and expressed gratitude to all participating countries.

The closing program included a video review of the exhibition events and speeches by cultural figures. The final act was the ceremony of handing over the World Expo flag to the delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which will host the Expo in 2030 in Riyadh.
