Italian Language Week was held in Turkmenistan

The International University of Humanities and Development (IUHDD) hosted events within the framework of the XXV Week of the Italian Language in the World. The action under the motto "Italophony: Language without Borders" united diplomats, Italian professors, teachers and students of Turkmen universities, becoming a platform for intercultural dialog. This is reported by the Internet edition "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The program included lectures by Italian professors Maria Giovanna Farchi and Francesco Gommoni, as well as a thematic exhibition prepared by the students of MUHNiR. The prospects of Turkmen-Italian cooperation in the field of education, including inter-university exchanges, joint projects and organization of language courses in Italy for Turkmen students were discussed during the meeting.

The Italian Language Week makes a significant contribution to the training of qualified specialists and allows Turkmen youth to get acquainted with the cultural heritage and traditions of Italy.
