А. Blokhin: Turkmenistan's food exports to Russia increased by 90%

According to Russian Ambassador to Turkmenistan Alexander Blokhin, the volume of trade turnover between the two countries amounted to 1.1 billion dollars in the first nine months of last year. As the diplomat noted in his article written on the occasion of the Diplomatic Worker's Day, positive trends in strategic cooperation form a trend to increase the volume of foreign trade. Thus, last year the volume of Turkmenistan's exports of food products to Russia increased by 90% compared to the same period of the previous year.

The volume of Turkmenistan's exports of textile industry products to Russia increased by 50%. This is reported in the article by A. Blokhin posted on the official website of the Russian Embassy in Turkmenistan.

Blokhin emphasized the importance of strengthening partnership relations with Russia in IT technologies, energy, industry, agriculture and cultural and humanitarian spheres.
