On September 5, a ceremony of presenting credentials to Deputy Foreign Minister Myahri Byashimova, appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of New Zealand to Turkmenistan Sarah Mary Walsh, took place. This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
М. Byashimova congratulated the Ambassador on her appointment and expressed readiness to provide comprehensive support in the implementation of her diplomatic mission. During the ceremony, the parties discussed the current state of bilateral cooperation, as well as the prospects for further development of partnership in various areas.
The sides discussed the possibility of setting up inter-parliamentary friendship groups in the parliaments of the two countries, as well as mutual visits of delegates. In addition, the sides agreed to provide mutual support within the framework of the activities of international organizations, including the UN.
