Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Malaysia meets with UN representative in Bangkok

On March 31, Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Malaysia M. Mashalov met with UN Deputy Secretary General Armida Salsiah Alisjahbana at the ESCAP Secretariat in Bangkok. This is reported on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

During the meeting, Mashalov thanked the leadership of the UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific for their support of Turkmenistan's initiatives, in particular, the adoption of Turkmenistan's resolution on the Aral Sea.

The modern city of Arkadag was presented during the meeting. The city project became the realization of the concept of "smart" cities. Arkadag is an example of project realization aimed at strengthening the state foundations, developing the country's economy, and improving the living conditions of the population.
The Ambassador of Turkmenistan invited the representative of ESCAP to the opening ceremony of the city of Arkadag.
