Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Portugal meets with Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa

On Thursday, September 7, Turkmen diplomat M. Chariev, appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Portugal (with residence in Paris) presented his credentials to the President of the country Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa. This is reported on the official website of the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan.

During the ceremony, M. Chariev conveyed to the President of the Portuguese Republic welcoming words and good wishes from the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, as well as from the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

The sides emphasized their mutual readiness to strengthen and expand Turkmen-Portuguese cooperation at the interstate level in a number of areas.
