On May 3, Turkmenistan's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia M. Ayazov met with Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Mnatsakan Safaryan. This is reported by "Vestiabad" online edition.
During the meeting, the sides discussed bilateral cooperation in trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian, transport and logistics spheres, as well as topical issues of interaction within the framework of regional and international organizations.
Armenia is currently actively establishing ties in the transportation sphere with Central Asian countries. The Armenian side expressed interest in the development of mutual trade by using the transport potential of Turkmenistan. The sides touched upon the upcoming session of the Turkmen-Armenian intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation.
