The State Service for Intellectual Property of the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan issued a certificate to the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan for the development of technology for the production of innovative building material based on sulfur waste. This is reported by the Internet publication "Westiabad."
The purpose of the development is to recycle sulfur waste into sulfur-gravel inert material.
The development solves two problems at once - obtaining a valuable construction material and utilization of sulphur waste. The new material can be used to create road pavements and restore concrete surfaces. Such a coating complies with state standards and is suitable for local hot conditions.
The new technology meets the economic interests of Turkmenistan, as local raw materials are used in the production of sulfur-gravel inert material.
