The III International Olympiad in Chemistry among students of higher educational institutions opened on November 25 this year. This is reported by the Internet edition "Westiabad."
The opening ceremony was held at the Turkmen State University named after Makhtumkuli. On the eve of the Olympiad, a scientific-practical conference dedicated to new technologies in chemistry and the teaching of this subject was held. An exhibition of Turkmenistan's national art was also organized at the conference.
Over 220 students from 21 higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan, representatives from Russia, China, Japan, Iran, Turkey and other countries, observers from Japan will take part in the Olympiad. The event is organized according to international standards and is designed for team and individual participation.
