On November 24 this year, a collection of selected works by Makhtumkuli Fraghi was presented in Beijing. The presentation took place in PUIA (Beijing Foreign Languages University) within the framework of the scientific conference dedicated to the great thinker, whose 300th anniversary is celebrated this year. This is reported on the official website Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The collection includes 100 selected poems of the great poet translated into Chinese. At the scientific conference "Makhtumkuli Fraghi's Clue of Mind and Humanitarian Relations between China and Central Asia", speakers noted the importance of Makhtumkuli's poetry for strengthening interconnection and friendly relations between different nations.
The conference included a bilateral conversation between the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to China P. Durdyev and Rector of PUIA Prof. Jia Wenjiang.
