The Turkmen delegation met in Ashgabat with representatives of the Silk Road International Rally project headed by the development director Sergey Tuκmanov and his first deputy Viktor Sokolov. This is reported by the Internet publication "TurkmenPortal".
During the meeting the parties discussed organizational issues of holding the rally on the territory of Turkmenistan, including the development of the route, ensuring the safety of drivers, medical support, ensuring communication on the route and other issues.
According to the plans, the competition will be held from September 9 to 15. The rally marathon will attract a large number of professional drivers and spectators from all corners of the world. Holding the competition on the Turkmen soil will allow demonstrating the hospitality of the Turkmen people and the country's potential in the field of tourism.
