A Saudi delegation of scientists from the Scientific Center named after King Abdul-Aziz of Saudi Arabia visited the ancient city of Nisa during a visit to Turkmenistan. This is reported by the Internet edition "Türkmenistan habarlar portaly".
Foreign guests were familiarized with the history of the ancient city. In Nisa as the capital of the ancient Parthian state, there were palaces, temples, treasuries, reservoirs, warehouses. The northern and southern architectural complexes were located in Old Nisa.
An excursion to the Makhtumkuli National Institute of Language, Literature and Manuscripts of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan was organized for the Saudi delegation.
