Turkmen Foreign Minister meets with Cuban counterpart on the margins of UNGA

Within the framework of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly on September 22, 2025, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla held talks. The sides assessed the state of bilateral relations in the political, trade, economic and humanitarian fields. The sides paid attention to the coordination of efforts on the platforms of international organizations and spoke in favor of intensifying relations between the foreign ministries.

The Foreign Ministers of the two countries exchanged views on the potential for establishing partnership in healthcare, agrarian sector, tourism and sports. Following the meeting, Rashid Meredov and Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla confirmed mutual interest in the progressive development of Turkmen-Cuban interaction.
