The Head of Turkmenistan spoke about the Global Security Strategy

During the meeting of the CIS heads of state in Bishkek, Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov confirmed the initiative to develop the Global Security Strategy, which was announced at the 78th session of the UNGA. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

According to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, events on the world stage demonstrate that the priority direction of world politics is to ensure peace and security. The global security strategy should include three main directions - application of preventive diplomacy, use of the potential of positive neutrality, and establishment of trustful dialog.

In that connection, Turkmenistan views the development of a global security strategy as a tool for addressing pressing issues of a political, economic, environmental, ecological and humanitarian nature.
