Turkmen delegation participated in the meeting in Japan

The first meeting of the ministerial economic and energy dialog in the format "Central Asia - Japan" was held in the capital of Japan today. This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

Turkmenistan was represented at the meeting, which was held in a hybrid format, by M. Babaev, Minister of State and Chairman of the State Concern "Turkmengaz". In addition, ministers of the energy sector and usable resources of Central Asian countries took part in the event. Mr. Nishimura Yasutoshi, Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan, chaired the meeting.

Turkmenistan shared its experience in combating climate change and familiarized the participants of the meeting with the national projects on transition to clean energy sources. The Turkmen side expressed readiness to study the Japanese experience in this area.
The meeting resulted in the adoption of the Joint Declaration.
