Arkadag, Turkmenistan's first smart city, scheduled to open tomorrow, June 29, is preparing to host a series of 17 international forums from June 30 to July 4. Events held in honor of the city's opening will host more than 300 prominent officials, distinguished guests and influential representatives from around the world. This was announced by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers R. Meredov on the air of the news program Vatan.
As a brand new city, Arkadag has great potential to become a center of international importance and a beacon of Turkmen cultural heritage. The upcoming forums in the coming days are a testament to its rapid emergence on the world stage, offering a platform for dynamic global dialog and cooperation. Leading major international companies and organizations will actively participate, forging new partnerships and facilitating a valuable exchange of ideas.
In his speech, Meredov added that another important event within the upcoming events in honor of the opening of the new city will be that ceremonies of awarding international certificates and diplomas will be held at Ruhyet Palace and Hakimlik Arkadag building. These certificates will recognize outstanding achievements of individuals and organizations in various fields.
In addition, during the forums, crucial cooperation agreements will be signed between Arkadag and Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan, as well as other foreign cities. These agreements will open up opportunities for increased cooperation, mutual growth and common prosperity of the cities participating in the agreements.
