Talks with UAE Minister of Economy held in Ashgabat

Turkmenistan's Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov and Abdullah bin Tuq Al-Marri - Minister of Economy of the United Arab Emirates met in Ashgabat on June 25, 2024. This is reported by the online edition "TurkmenPortal.

In the course of the meeting, the sides discussed promising areas of development of bilateral cooperation between the UAE and Turkmenistan. The sides discussed issues of expanding trade and economic partnership and increasing the volume of trade turnover. Specific proposals were made in this context.

The sides paid special attention to the intensification of cooperation in the energy sector, chemical industry, financial sector, transportation and oil and gas industry. The importance of bilateral visits at the highest and high levels was emphasized.
