The branch of the Centralized Library System of the Culture Department of Ashgabat held an informative quiz contest on the theme of fairy tales beloved by children in Choganli. Children attending the Ýaşlyk health camp participated in the contest. This is reported by the Internet edition "Westiabad."
During the contest it was emphasized that in Turkmenistan much attention is paid to the comprehensive development of children, including physical and intellectual aspects. Education in the spirit of the best traditions and national values is of special importance. The library workers noted that fairy tales as an element of oral folk art are a reflection of culture, history and moral values of the Turkmen people.
The most active participants of the contest on knowledge of Turkmen folk tales were recognized with gratitude.
