An exhibition of fine and applied art works was opened at the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan in honor of the national holiday Horse Day. This is reported by the Internet publication "Vestiabad".
The exhibition presents 300 works by students and teachers of the GAKHT. A work resembling a collage attracted special attention of the guests of the exposition. It depicts training at the hippodrome before important competitions. A designer's work depicting an Akhalteke horse made in the screen-art technique with the use of nails and threads aroused great interest of the audience.
In addition, a collection of jewelry, women's stylized ornaments will be exhibited. By April 24, the works of all Turkmen artists who have expressed a desire to take part in the exhibition will be added to the works of students and teachers of the GAHT.
