Winter onions are planted in Lebap velayat of Turkmenistan

Farmers of Lebap province of Turkmenistan have planned to plant 450 hectares of garlic and 900 hectares of winter onions for the future harvest. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

Farmers of Chardjev etrap made a significant contribution to the fulfillment of the plan on planting garlic by planting 130 hectares of this crop, farmers of Sayat etrap planted 108 hectares, Khojambaz etrap - 71 hectares of garlic. To date, the work on crop maintenance has already started.

In addition, planting of 900 hectares of winter onions has been completed. In Chardjev, Khojambaz and Sayat districts of Lebap province, 700 hectares have been sown. Currently, comprehensive care of winter crops is being carried out in accordance with agrotechnical norms.
