A seminar on the creation of unified voter lists was held in Turkmenistan

The Central Election Commission of Turkmenistan held a two-day seminar on the creation of unified voter lists taking into account gender aspects. This is reported by the Internet resource "Westiabad."

The seminar was organized jointly with the UNDP office within the framework of the project "Capacity Building of the Central Election Commission of Turkmenistan". The event was attended by specialists of the Central Election Commission of Turkmenistan, deputies of the Mejlis, local government officials and media representatives.

Gulnara Iskakova, an expert in the field of electoral law and management, gave a lecture on international practices of creating unified voter lists taking into account gender breakdown. At the end of the event, it was noted that the technologies and methods presented at the seminar meet modern international standards and principles.
