On December 13 this year, a meeting was held between the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Estonia to Turkmenistan (with residence in Astana) Jaap Oran and Deputy Minister of Education of Turkmenistan. This was reported by the Internet resource "Westiabad."
During the talks, representatives of Turkmenistan spoke about the achievements of the state in digitalization in education and introduction of modern technologies in the learning processes, as well as presented data on the country's participation in the PISA educational assessment program. The representatives of Estonia expressed readiness to share with Turkmenistan the experience of participation in this program and successful practice of introducing digital technologies in education.
The talks will contribute to strengthening cooperation between Estonia and Turkmenistan and will be an important step towards improving the country's education system.
