The first venture fund will be established in Turkmenistan

On April 13, a conference on venture funds organized by USAID (United States Agency for International Development) and Rysgal Joint Stock Commercial Bank was held in Ashgabat. The forum discussed the creation of the first venture capital fund in Turkmenistan. This was reported by the U.S. Embassy in Turkmenistan on its official website.

The conference was attended by representatives of financial institutions, IT-sphere, universities, government agencies, founders of venture funds from Bulgaria, Kazakhstan and Singapore, investors.

Representatives of Vitosha Ventures, Türkmenaragatnaşyk Agency, MOST Ventures and Quest Ventures addressed the guests of the event. The speakers of the forum spoke about the opportunities, advantages and prospects of venture capital funds and other aspects of investment activities.
