Turkmenistan participated in the Meeting of the CIS Foreign Ministers

The first meeting of foreign ministers of CIS member states chaired by Kyrgyzstan was held in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. This is reported on the Orient news website.

The representatives of the CIS countries discussed the world's topical problems, as well as cooperation of the CIS countries in trade and economic, cultural, humanitarian and political and diplomatic spheres. It was emphasized that the CIS currently continues to be an important platform for strengthening ties between the countries in various spheres.

The Meeting resulted in a number of developed documents that will be submitted for approval within the framework of the Council of Heads of CIS Member States and the Council of Heads of Governments of CIS countries.

The next meeting of the CIS foreign ministers will be held on October 12 this year in the Kyrgyz capital Bishkek.
