The Korean Information Center operates in Turkmenistan with the assistance of the Ministry of Education. Its activities are aimed at improving literacy in web design and programming, promoting information and technological development of the educational system of Turkmenistan. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
The functions and powers of the Korean Information Center are established by an agreement signed with the Innovation and Information Center of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.
The center offers free activities for children with disabilities as well as for the elderly. The center provides Internet access for everyone.
Currently, the possibility of attracting Korean specialists for temporary teaching at the center, as well as the possibility of training Turkmen teachers in the Republic of Korea is being considered.
