During the regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan on September 6, Deputy Prime Minister Batyr Atdaev presented measures to simplify trade procedures and talked about the development of international trade and economic cooperation. Deputy Prime Minister reported on plans to implement by the end of the year the Action Plan for the regional project "Trade Facilitation in Central Asia". The project is implemented within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan and the German Society for International Cooperation.
Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov gave instructions on the project's implementation. He noted that the introduction of digital technologies in all sectors of the economy will maximize the simplification of trade procedures.
