A three-day training seminar organized by the USAID Program is currently underway in the Turkmen capital. The event, supported by the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan, is aimed at familiarizing participants with basic concepts, methods and implementation of international trade policy. This is reported by the Internet publication “Türkmenistan Habarlar Portaly".
Miles Light, Doctor of Economics from the American University of Colorado, acts as a guest expert at the training. The seminar is held in the format of interactive lectures and group trainings, during which an introduction to advanced software is carried out. Economic experiments and presentations are conducted during the trainings.
The participants of the seminars were specialists from various ministries and departments of Turkmenistan, employees of state concerns and enterprises.
