Turkmenistan implements a project to provide jobs for persons with disabilities

On October 24, Ashgabat hosted the opening ceremony of OSGT Cardboard and Printing Shop No.1 within the framework of the UNDP and the Blind and Deaf Society of Turkmenistan (BDST) project. The project "Accessible Work for Persons with Disabilities in Turkmenistan: Transforming Social Enterprises for Education and Decent Work Opportunities" receives financial support from the Fund for Global Development and South-South Cooperation. This is reported in the Telegram channel of the online publication "Türkmenistan Habarlar Portaly".

After the renovation, the shop was equipped with modern cardboard and printing equipment that will allow employees with hearing and visual impairments to increase the output of printing products.
In addition, a South-South forum was held on October 26 at the UN building in Ashgabat.
