The II International Mathematical Olympiad, which will be held in the Turkmen capital, is scheduled for April 2025. The intellectual competition is designed for schoolchildren. This is reported by the Internet edition SNG.Today.
Vice Prime Minister Bairamgul Orazdurdyeva presented the proposal to hold the international event to the President of Turkmenistan during the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on January 10.
The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that holding such international Olympiads contributes to the achievement of the sustainable development goal "Quality Education". B. Orazdurdyeva noted that schoolchildren from other countries will be able to participate in the Olympiad along with students of secondary general education institutions of Turkmenistan.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov supported the Deputy Prime Minister's proposal and instructed to hold the intellectual competition at a high organizational level.
