Turkmenistan amends the Code on Social Protection

The new Law "On Amendments to the Code on Social Protection of the Population" establishes a mandatory requirement for recipients of pensions and state benefits. This is reported by the Internet publication "TurkmenPortal.

If the recipient receives pensions and allowances to a bank account, he or she must check in at the local Pension Fund office every six months. You can register in person at the local Pension Fund office or through a digital system.

The procedure for using digital systems for marking in the Pension Fund will be approved by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population of Turkmenistan. Amendments to the law on receipt of pensions and benefits are aimed at improving the social protection system. The new Law has already entered into force.
