Turkmenistan summarizes the results of the government's work for 2023

Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov summarized the government's work for 2023 at Friday's extended meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers. This is reported by the State News Agency.

During the year, 46 meetings of the Cabinet of Ministers were held to discuss key issues of the country's domestic and foreign policy. There were also 10 meetings of the State Council on security issues and 44 sectoral meetings.

According to the head of state, the government has set a course for the development of the national economy and growth in all areas. The program of socio-economic development of Turkmenistan for 2022-2052 is being successfully implemented.

Wages and pensions of citizens have been indexed. Measures are being taken to improve legislation in accordance with the challenges of the time.

The President emphasized that the main priority remains the implementation of the "State for People" policy. Large-scale construction of infrastructure and housing is underway across the country.
