The year 2024 in Turkmenistan will be held under the motto "Makhtumkuli Fraghi's Storehouse of Mind"

On December 29, 2023, at an extended sessions The motto of the forthcoming 2024 year - "Makhtumkuli Fraghi's Cluster of Mind" - was announced by the Government of Turkmenistan under the chairmanship of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. This decision was taken to commemorate the 300th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Turkmen thinker and poet Makhtumkuli Fraghi. His work is revered all over the world as the peak of spiritual culture of the Turkmen people.

According to Chairman of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan D. Gulmanova, when proposing this motto, the deputies and the public of Turkmenistan were inspired by the deep symbolism of the poem "Pähim-paýhas ummany Magtymguly Pyragy" by the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

The emblem of the coming year was also approved at the meeting. The President expressed confidence that the 2024 events in honor of Makhtumkuli Fraghi will be held at a high organizational level and will serve to promote the cultural heritage of the Turkmen people in the world.
