Erdogan arrives in Turkmenistan for trilateral summit

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived in Turkmenistan today to participate in the first trilateral summit of the presidents of Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Turkey.

The Turkish leader was met at Turkmenbashi International Airport by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov and his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu, Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Fatih Donmez, Turkish Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoglu, Turkish Ambassador to Ashgabat and other officials.

The Turkish delegation includes Emine Erdogan, Minister of Commerce Mehmet Mus, AKP deputy chairman and party spokesman Omer Çelik, Ismail Demir, president of the presidential defense industry, Fahrettin Altun, director of presidential public relations, and Ibrahim Kalin, Turkish presidential spokesman.
