A young tennis player from Turkmenistan won second place at a tournament in the UAE

Sulgun Ishangulyeva, a young Turkmen sportswoman, won a silver medal at the International Tennis Tournament in Dubai (UAE). This is reported by the online edition of "Turkmenistan: The Golden Age".

Athletes from 52 countries aged 10-16 took part in the International Tournament. Sulgun Ishangulyeva showed a decent result, beating opponents from France, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Earlier, the tennis player won an international tournament in the Republic of Türkiye in the city of Izmir.

The Dubai Bowl is one of the most prestigious junior tennis tournaments in Dubai, aimed at giving young athletes the opportunity to gain the necessary experience in international competitions for their future professional career.
